Dear, Webmaster

Hello. This is Kim Da Hea , a high school student from South Korea. I¡¯m a member of the Dokdo Cyber Press. I really thank you for your website which provides useful information about Dokdo to share.

º»·Ð
However, I have found some errors in the information of the website. It says,"Dokdo is known as the Liancourt Rocks in English and Takeshima Island in Japanese." Liancourt Rocks is dervied from French whalingship named Le Liancourt. It discovered Dokdo in1849 and named it "Liancourt". It spread globally, so many Europeans and Americans started to use this name to describe Dokdo. But before Le Liancourt discovered Dokdo, Korea which had taken full controll of the island named it Dokdo. But Liancourt is still being used to describe Dokdo. And also takeshima, It seems unreasonable to use the name "takeshima" which is decided in the period of imperialism because its original name is "Dokdo" which has been used throughout history.  Furthermore your company, Open water Pedia also is using it. Because Open water pedia is one of the biggest website in the world, using wrong marking at your website can give many people mistaken impression.

Thank you for your reading my letter, and I will be more honored to get reply from you(wiskx95@gmail.com). Thank you again for your reading, and I expect you to change Liancourt to Dokdo.

Yours sincerely,
Kim Da Hea
