Historically and legally, Dokdo has been clear and evident territory to Korea since 512 A.D. even before 20th century. The records of Dokdo are frequently found in the Korean historical books such as the Chronicles of the Three States and the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty. The only time when Korea lost its sovereignty over Dokdo was from 1905 when Japanese imperialism took away the Korean diplomatic autonomy by force, to 1945 when it was the last year Korea had been Imperialist Japanese colony. Even after World War II, the Allied countries clearly affirmed by SCAPIN 677 in 1946 that Ulleung Island and Dokdo was not the territories of Japan.
As a Korean, I am duly eligible to make a strong complaint about your website for posting only commentary based on Japanese ungrounded claim. It is not justifiable and balanced posting. In addition, I should request you to check out the right and just historical facts on Dokdo and correct your manner of postings on Dokdo based on historical facts as soon as possible.
